Man Hospitalized for Heroin Overdose

On October 6, 2010 at 9:15 p.m., Trooper West responded to the 6300 block of Whitetail Lane in Dunkirk for a possible drug overdose. 

Daniel P. Middledorf, 29 of Dunkirk, was found to be in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. 

He was admitted to the Calvert Memorial Hospital and later charged.

Obviously this person is NOT in his right mind. Maybe we can put him in a mental hospital until he proves beyond a reasonable doubt that he is no longer insane.

Doesnt suprise me...
I went to school with this young man for a time, and it doesnt surprise me. I hope he gets the help he needs. Heroin is a NASTY drug. Maybe this will open his eyes.

Lock him away.
I hope this 29 year old male does not get the victim treatment as he was found to be in possession of a schedule 1 drug. Too often we punish the dealer while pitying the user, a grown man is responsible for the decision one makes.
