Baby Abby, daughter to Sharon and Tim Shaw has been entered into the Gerber Generation Photo contest this month and the Shaw’s are wondering if the great readers of TheBAYNET.com can help vote for Abby.

The Gerber Generation Photo contest is an annual event where parents are asked to enter their children in one of six age groups to find the next Gerber baby. After regional voting concludes the winners go on to compete in the national contest where the next generation of Gerber Babies are selected.

If Abby wins in her age group, her likeness will be used to advertise the next generation of Gerber products for her age group. The baby will also receive a whopping $25,000 scholarship and will be on ads, commercials for Gerber.

According to Sharon Shaw, “Abby truly was a miracle to the both of us. I was told many times that I would more than likely not be able to conceive a child on my own, but after about two and a half years we received the most wonderful news ever!  "You’re pregnant!"
