Two Juveniles Charged in Multiple Burglaries, Armed Robbery, Thefts

Since April of 2010 the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations has been investigating a series of burglaries, thefts and one strong armed robbery.  As a result of investigations, BCI has arrested and charged two juveniles from Lexington Park  and closed the following cases:

Kmart
Jug Head Liquors
2000 Liquors
Target
Radio Shack – Great Mills, Maryland
Robbery – Card Road in Lexington Park, Maryland

Juvenile 1 – male, 16-years-old from Lexington Park, charged with four counts of second degree burglary, four counts of destruction of property, two count of theft over $1,000 but under $10,000 and two counts of theft under $1,000.

Juvenile 2 – male, 16-years-old from Lexington Park, charged with one count of robbery, one count of second degree assault, two counts of theft under $1,000 and one count of second degree burglary.

Per Juvenile Services, both juveniles were released to the custody of their parents pending further action from Juvenile Services and the courts.
