Emergency Crews Responding to Motorcycle Accident in Hollywood

UPDATE 1:05 p.m.
The patient is a male juvenile. The juvenile was riding the motorcycle on private property when the juvenile wrecked and the motorcycle slid into the roadway. No other vehicles were involved. 

Authorities in St. Mary's County are on the scene of a motorcycle accident along St. John's Road near Cedar Lane in Hollywood.

Rescue crews responded to report of a crash involving a motorcyclist not wearing a helmet shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7

MSP Helicopter has been requested to the scene to transport the male patient for his injuries.

are you both FYOU and phantomphixr say that what he did was right? I mean by the looks of it it seems to me that you are saying its no big deal that this happened. He made a mistake and lets move on...Right good call on that. His mistake could have cost him his life.

IT IS THE LAW TO WEAR A HELMET!!

I do however hope that the kid is ok and will make a full recovery.

I wasn't aware a helmet was required on private property. In fact, it was my impression the bike doesn't even have to be street legal if ridden on private property. Lucky for me we have all these lawyers on here posting their legal advice so I can catch up with things here in the good state of Maryland.

Of course it's not right. My beef was that some dude, who apparently was perfect when he was a teenager, takes aim at a kid who is hurt. It's not like this kid was doing any harm to anyone else.
"It's the law" funny, maybe it was my teenage angst but telling me to wear a helmet because the law says so would have made me do the opposite. But I digress.

I heard this from one of my friend of friend's son
They said, it was his second time. He was spared by God's will. If he did it a bit more faster then he won't made it from the crash. He was just a young silly guy. I hope it was his last time to do something like that. He didn't looked good in the picture that I saw.
