Washington Avenue to Close for Utility Construction

The Charles County Department of Planning and Growth Management along with the Town of La Plata announces that Washington Avenue will be closed to all through traffic from December 13, 2010 through January 14, 2011 for utility construction between Cecil Street and Talbot Street. The closure will be from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. daily. The road will remain open during the daytime hours.
Signs will be posted notifying the public of the closure.
The closure may be postponed if weather conditions create construction delays.
