Patient Flown from Lusby Crash: Route 4 Re-opened

Northbound Route 4 has been reopened following a serious crash in Lusby. Rescue crews arrived on the scene along Route 4 and Rousby Hall Road around 10:15 a.m. to discover two vehicles involved, a Green Ford Explorer and a gray four door sedan. The driver of the sedan was flown by MSP Trooper  to Prince Georges Shock Trauma as a result of their injuries. Two additional patients were transported to local hospitals.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.



Authorities in Calvert County are on the scene of a serious crash in Lusby.

Rescue crews responded to report of an accident with injuries along Route 4 and Rousby Hall Road around 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14. Crews arrived on the scene to discover two vehicles invovled and one patient trapped.

Northbound Route 4 is being shut down for accident investigation.
