Academic and Employment Opportunities in Engineering Available for Middle and High School Students

Calvert County Public Schools and NAVAIR/Pax River will be presenting an Academic and Employment Opportunities Information Night at Calvert High School on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. The program is for parents and students in Grades 6 to 12. Presenters from NAVAIR/Pax River will provide information about employment opportunities for the summer of 2011 for students in high school and college. The process for online application for student summer employment will be described.
Calvert County Public Schools will highlight current school based programs in Science, Engineering, Technology and Mathematics for students in Grades 6 to 12. Programs offered at the Career and Technology Academy (CTA) will be featured in a video presentation. NAVAIR/Pax River will describe programs and opportunities for students through Navy scholarships and work opportunities.
