SHA is Warning of Hazardous Travel Conditions

An overturned tractor trailer is blocking three right lanes along the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway (I-495) at MD 185 (Connecticut Avenue). The accident happened shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 22. Motorists are urged to use the Woodrow Wilson Bridge approach from Virginia into Maryland. Multiple crashes are bring reported along I-95 (John F. Kennedy Highway) near MD 43 (White Marsh Boulevard).
Motorists are urged to delay travel plans. SHA and the Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) have nearly 1,600 pieces of equipment deployed in the region.
