NAS Patuxent River Issues Noise Advisory

Communities surrounding the naval air station are advised that noise-generating test events are scheduled to take place from March 5 to March14,2011. Low-level fixed wing flight testing will occur during daylight hours. Total flight time will be one continuous two-hour segment. Residents may notice increased noise levels due to these test operations.
As with all operations, NAS Patuxent River takes precautions to lessen the impact of testing and training activities on the community.
