Going Green/Tech Night to be Held at Regency Stadium
Waldorf, MD - 8/16/2011
Charles County Government will be among the vendors at the 4th Annual Going Green/Tech Night, Regency Furniture Stadium’s largest gathering of tech and green tech companies. Again this year, Charles County Government will raffle off a bottle-shaped recycle bin to one lucky winner. Going Green/Tech Night will be held on Saturday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m. This event is open to attendees of the baseball game, and will feature:
• Local Innovators in Technology
• Environmentally Friendly Energy Solutions
• Tech & Green Tech Products & Services
• Energy Efficient Automobiles
• The Future of Our Communities
• State & Regional Green Initiatives
• Robotics Demonstrations
• Displays, Giveaways, Door Prizes & Fun
The event is currently sponsored by the Charles County Technology Council (CCTC), PNC Bank, Charles County Government, Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative, Charles County Public Library, SolarTech Inc., Studio 553, Askey, Askey & Associates, CSM/Local Robotics Teams, and ThinkGeek.com.
Vendor space is still available, but limited. Sponsors will reach more than 3,000 people and support the CCTC scholarship fund for Southern Maryland students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
