Hurricane Irene Patrols in St. Mary's County
St. Mary's County, MD - 9/2/2011
The Sheriff`s Office is maintaining high visibility patrols through areas hit hardest by Hurricane Irene. We ask you to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. We have experienced increased traffic from persons driving through to see the damage. Our concern is also anyone casing communities for damaged un-attended property/homes. We hope the police visibility and community awareness will deter any would be criminal.
