READER LETTER: Reflections on the Hurricane
9/5/2011
REFLECTIONS ON THE HURRICANE:
I had company this weekend. It was a lady who arrived Saturday morning. I even prepared for her by filling the bathtub with water, having ice on hand and plenty of food but I don't think she appreciated my effort because she brought her own water and lots of it and she partied all night and I got no sleep only a severe migraine. She turned out the lights and howled all night. I tried extending my hospitality and charm but she didn't like me at all and before leaving she looked at me and extended one more blow by bringing down two huge beautiful trees on my van and another car. She realized that I had no intentions of partying with her so she proceeded on her journey up the East coast to annoy someone else. I bid her farewell and said "GOODBYE IRENE"
