Labor Stats Application for Androids and iPhones

The U.S. Department of Labor has just released a new Labor Stats app for use on your Android phone or iPhone. The free app displays real-time updates to the unemployment rate, Unemployment Insurance initial claims, the Consumer Price Index, payroll employment, average hourly earnings, the Producer Price Index, the Employment Cost Index, productivity, and the U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes - as they are published each week, month, or quarter. News releases providing context for the data are also available through the app and can be viewed within a mobile browser or as PDF documents.The Labor Stats application presents the most up-to-date numbers and news releases for the following statistics published by Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) and Employment and Training Administration (ETA).
- Average Hourly Earnings
- Consumer Price Index (CPI)
- Employment Cost Index (ECI)
- Payroll Employment
- Producer Price Index (PPI)
- Productivity
- Unemployment Insurance Initial Claims
- Unemployment Rate
- U.S. Import Price Index
- U.S. Export Price Index
