UPDATE 11/04/2011: Per a press release from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, Mr. Traas has been located.

The St. Mary's County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Sex Offender Unit, is seeking the public's assistance in locating Jacob Steven Traas, a Tier II registered sex offender.  Trass recently resided in the Hollywood area of St. Mary’s County.  On October 31, 2011, during a compliance check it was discovered Traas has moved from the residence and failed to provide a new address to the sex offender registry.  A warrant has been issued for the Traas’ arrest.
