Bowie, MD - 11/24/2011
The football coaches from 36 local high schools have selected senior players to compete in the fourth annual Chick-fil-A Challenge on Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Bowie State University football field. Two teams representing Southern Maryland Athletic Conference (SMAC) and Prince George County will go head-to-head in the all-star football game sponsored by nine local Chick-fil-A restaurants. Scouts have attended for the last 3 years, and numerous students have received scholarships based on this game. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.
“The Chick-fil-A Challenge is a great opportunity for the community to get involved in supporting both SMAC and Prince George County,” said franchise Operator John Flatley. “We invite all fans to come show support for their school and enjoy a great game.”
