Good Grief Support Group

This group meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. This is a drop in group open to adults who have experienced a loss through death.This group requires no registration.The group is held at the St. Mary’s Hospital in the Pavilion on the second floor beginning January 3rd, 2012.

Surviving Spouses Group

Registration is required for this 8 week group.Please call to register.This group is offered several times a year.

This group assists with building bonds with other group members who have suffered the same type of loss and provides education on grief and positive coping skills as well as provides support.

Through My Eyes Adolescent/Teen Group

Registration is required for this 8 week group.Please call to register.

This group meets evenings once a week for 8 consecutive weeks and is designed for teens ages 13 through 18 who have lost a loved one through death.Photography, creative writing and education are used to help teens process their loss and learn positive coping skills from their peers.The group ends with an exhibit for the teens’ work for family and friends to view.Teens will also receive a keepsake booklet in memory of a loved one.

Sunrise Children’s Support Group

Registration is required for this 8 week group.Please call to register.

This group meets evenings once a week for eight consecutive weeks and is designed for children 6 to 12 who have lost a loved one through death.Art activities, scrapbooking and education are used to help children process their loss.Children learn tools for coping with grief and do so in a safe environment surrounded by peers.

Remembrance Ceremony

Please join us at the Hospice House for a ceremony to remember our loved ones who have passed.This will be a time to honor those that we miss all year and want to honor during this season.
