Lighthouse Museum Holds Holiday Open House

Piney Point Lighthouse Museum and Historic Park held a holiday open house on Sunday, December 11th. During the open house the lighthouse and lighthouse keeper’s quarters were open to the public.
The keeper’s quarters was festively decorated for the season and featured period toy displays throughout the two floors.
Southern Maryland Blue Crabs mascot Pinch was on hand to greet visitors in front of the museum gift shop. The gift shop features a number of unusual gift items for the holiday season.
The mesueum is operated by the Museum Division of the St. Mary's County Department of Recreation and Parks.
