Regency Furniture Stadium and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs hosted their fourth annual Breakfast with Santa “Claws” on Saturday morning with its highest turnout ever. The Blue Crabs ran a toys for tots drive, had pictures with Santa and breakfast.
Each person who delivered a toy for the toys for tots drive received two free tickets to opening weekend for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball team. They also did a drawing for a fleece blanket. Along with breakfast, holiday music was played on a keyboard by Josh Cockerhan.
“This was our biggest year ever,” Courtney Freeland, Marketing Manager for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, said. “Over 150 people came (before 10:30am).”
