Double Fly-out After Vehicle Strikes Pole

At 8:34 P.M. on January 27, 2012, rescue crews were dispatched to the 27000 block of Laurel Grove Road for the reported vehicle into a pole. Crews arrived on scene to find a single vehicle into a pole with a female driver who was unrestrained with head trauma from hitting the windshield and was wanted by law enforcement as well as an unconscious male passenger. A helicopter was requested for each subject for transport to a trauma center. The patients were prepped for transport and transported to the Laurel Grove Park to meet the State Trooper helicopters for transport. Trooper 7 ended up handling both subjects. The last fire/EMS unit cleared the scene at 9:30.
