Kitchen Fire in Lexington Park
Lexington Park, MD - 1/31/2012

At 12:37 P.M. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, crews were dispatched to the 46000 block of Chapman Drive in Lexington Park for the reported house fire. Crews arrived on scene to find a single wide trailer with no signs of fire. Crews investigated further to find that the residence had a kitchen fire that the homeowner had extinguished, but crews had found fire still in the ceiling. Crews worked to clear the fire from the ceiling and ensure the safety of the structure. The last fire unit cleared the scene at 1:26 P.M.
