The St. Leonard Volunteer Fire Department responded to a barn fire at the 5000 block of St. Leonard Rd. in St. Leonard, MD at 6:35 am on Thursday morning. The fire at the 60’x30’ barn caused $5,000 in structure damage.
The preliminary investigation found that the fire was intentionally set and was discovered inside the barn by neighbors, who notified the fire department. The owner of the barn is identified as Donas McCready. The Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Office is continuing to investigate.
