Ash Tray Causes Fire in Chesapeake Beach

Shortly after 5am units from North Beach(1), Dunkirk(5), Huntingtown(6) were called to 16th Street and Old Bayside Road in Chesapeake Beach for a house fire. Units arrived on scene and found a smoldering fire on the deck with little damage to the house. The fire was started at a cigarette butt container on the deck. Units were location for approximately 30 minutes.
