The St. Mary’s County Public Schools’ Ethics Panel will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 4:00-6:00 p.m., in the Board of Education Meeting Room, 23160 Moakley Street, Leonardtown, Maryland 20650.

Armed SMCPS employees
I wonder if the ethics committee will research the rumor of gun toting employees of the school system. It has been rumored that our School Safety officer carries a 9mm handgun during school hours and on school premises. I wonder if they will research this and comment back to parents and citizens about this potential or real "nightmare",,, whichever it is??
