Navy Contracts – April 4, 2012
Alliant Techsystems Operations, L.L.C., Defense Electronic Systems, Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $10,648,288 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-11-G-0014) for the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile (AARGM) Block I upgrade. Efforts to be provided include definition, development, integration, documentation, testing, and management for AARGM Block I software changes, improvements, and enhancements that will enable the AGM-88E all up round, as well as the common munitions built-in test reprogramming equipment boxes 4 and 6 to correct initial operational test and evaluation deficiencies, implement deferred capability product documentation capability, and add capability enhancements to the baseline system. Work will be performed in Woodland Hills, Calif., and is expected to be completed in April 2015. Contract funds in the amount of $10,648,288 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
General Electric Aviation, Lynn, Mass., is being awarded an $8,886,783 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-09-G-0009) for the F414 Engine Component Improvement Program, to include engineering and engine system improvement support. Work will be performed in Lynn, Mass., and is expected to be completed in December 2012. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract combines purchases for the Navy ($8,308,167; 93 percent) and, under the Foreign Military Sales Program, the government of Australia ($578,616; 7 percent). The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
