Greg Garner and Nathan Hupp both scored four points for the La Plata Warriors in their 18-1 win over the North Point Eagles during a lacrosse game on Tuesday night at La Plata High School. Matt Holden scored the lone goal for North Point.

“It felt great,” Garner said. “It was my first time to score four goals so I had to pick up the slack today.”

“Four goals,” Hupp said. “It felt good.”

“I’m always proud of my boys,” Acting Head Coach Keith Vogel said. “Everytime they go out on the field, I’m proud of them.”

At the halfway point of the game, La Plata already had the game pretty much wrapped up and put their second stringers on the field for the remainder of the game. That didn’t stop the La Plata steamroller, they scored all the way through the final seconds, including a goal in the final few seconds of the game by Scott Atkinson.
