On April 18, 2012 at approximately 11:25 p.m. deputies responded to an apartment on Great Mills Road in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of a disturbance.Upon arrival deputies were met by Shuree Sinese Weems, 31 of Lexington Park, Maryland.Weems was standing outside of the apartment complex screaming.Deputies asked Weems several times to lower her voice as she was causing other residents to exit their apartments to investigate the disturbance.Weems refused to stop yelling.Deputies told Weems she was under arrest.As deputies attempted to handcuff Weems, she tensed her body and pulled her arms around to the front of her body refusing to be handcuffed.Deputies were eventually able to handcuff Weems and transport her to the detention center.Weems was charged with failing to obey a lawful order of a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.Arresting Officer – Deputy Wood #248
