During the week of April 16 through April 22 deputies of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office responded to 3,590 calls for service throughout the community.

Citizens with information on the following crimes or any criminal activity in Calvert County who wish to report it anonymously can now access the Calvert County Crime Solvers link through the Sheriff’s Office website.

Go to http://www.co.cal.md.us/residents/safety/law/sheriff/ and click on the Crime Solvers link to leave an anonymous tip on-line.Information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect could result in a $1,000 reward.

Destruction of Property

Sometime between April 13 and 16 unknown suspect(s) damaged the boardwalk railing and bollards at the Chesapeake Beach Nature Trail causing $150 in damage.Anyone with information is asked to contact 1st Sgt. C. Bowen at 410-535-2800.

Theft

Sometime between April 16 and 17 someone stole a maroon and black colored Tony Hawk special edition 18 inch boys bicycle valued at $130 and a pink and white colored Tony Hawk special edition 18 inch girls bicycle also valued at $130 from the yard of a residence in the 4000 block of Hallowing Point road in Prince Frederick.DFC S. Morder is investigating.

Theft

Someone stole $800 worth of copper wire, metal, steel and aluminum items from the yard of a home on Arthur King Road in Prince Frederick sometime between April 8 and 16.Dep. G. Gott is investigating.

Burglary

The Chesapeake Auction House on St. Leonard Road was burglarized overnight between April 18 and 19.At this time it is unknown if anything was stolen.DFC J. Hardesty is investigating.

Theft

A woman had her shiny purple purse stolen from her cart as she was loading her packages into her vehicle at the Prince Frederick Walmart on April 20 at 3:30 p.m.DFC R. Brady is investigating.
