Help LHS Band Reclaim Their Title as State Champs
Leonardtown, MD - 4/24/2012
Each year Leonardtown High School student musicians, color guard, and band members, work tirelessly to prepare for all the many events. The football games, concerts, Tri-County and State Music Festivals, County parades and the United States Scholastic Band Association Competitions are a few of these noteworthy endeavors. In 2010 The LHS Marching Band earned the honor of being called 2010 Maryland State Champs.LHS Band Booster’s primary job is to raise money for these activities and without your support these students would never have known what it feels like to be called the state champs.
In order to support these dedicated and talented student musicians, the Band Boosters work all year to raise approximately $15,000 to cover expenses associated with competition fees, uniforms, props, instruments, and music. Only by these fundraisers can we truly provide the money and educational experience these wonderful students deserve. The Band Boosters receives limited money for any of the Organization Costs. So it’s time for the SuperMagicMan to put his illusions to work for the community. In association with the LHS Band Boosters, the SuperMagicMan is hosting a full evening of illusion, we need your help and support. This is a show you will be talking about long after the curtain comes down, a unique, high-energy experience to bring families, friends and neighbors together for a truly wonder filled evening. It is a different, yet fun way to raise the money the Band needs to regain the title of Maryland State Champs. The magic production is second to none in the Delmarva, and is filled with magic illusions, dancing, and comedy and will have you mystified by evenings end.
