On April 23 at 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the Plaza Shell located at 3185 Crain Highway in Waldorf for the reported armed robbery. The investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, approached the cashier and demanded money from the register. When the cashier refused, the suspect revealed a handgun in his waistband. He is between 40 and 50 years old and was wearing a purple “Reebok” jacket with white stripes on the sleeves.
