Annual Hydrant Flushing in Cliffton on the Potomac
Newburg, MD - 4/30/2012
The Department of Public Works, Utilities Division will be performing annual hydrant flushing in Cliffton on the Potomac on May 2nd & 3rd. Please refrain from washing clothes and using excess water on these dates. Should you experience discolored water, run all spigots in your home for several minutes until the water becomes clear. It is recommended that you run your washing machine empty for one cycle prior to clothes being washed. This maintenance program will allow DPW/Utilities to continue to provide you with clean and healthy potable water.
