St. Mary's County Employees of the Year Announced

The St. Mary’s County Commissioners on Tuesday announced employee of the year winners for 2011 in four categories. Nominees were announced by Human Resources Director Sue Sabo in the categories of Manager of the Year, Administrative and Non-Administrative Employees of the Year and People’s Choice. The first three categories were chosen by a committee comprised of people inside and outside of county government. The People’s Choice nominees were chosen by county employees.
The winners are:
·Manager of the Year –Cristina Barbour of the Museum Division of the Department of Recreation and Parks. She works at St. Clements Island Museum.
·Administrative Employee of the Year – Brandy Tulley of the Department of Aging and Human Services.
·Non-Administrative Employee of the Year – Mike Herbert of the Department of Public Works and Transportation.
·People’s Choice Award – Mary Ann Gardiner of the Department of Public Safety and Information technology
