PATROL OFFICERS FIND DRUGS DURING TRAFFIC STOP/DRIVER ARRESTED: On May 1 at 2:18 a.m., officers were working a radar assignment in the 6100 block of Indian Head Highway in Indian Head when a car sped through going 20 miles over the speed limit. A traffic stop was initiated and upon approaching the car, officers detected the odor of marijuana. Sixty individually packaged baggies of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were recovered. The driver, Philip Maurice Mitchell, 18, of Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs. Officer V. Warker made the arrest.
OFFICERS APPREHEND THEFT SUSPECTS:
BURGLARY: Sometime between April 23 and April 24, unknown suspects broke into a shed in the 1000 block of Dorsett Drive in Waldorf and stole tires and rims. PFC. Alvarez is investigating.
