On May 1 at 9:33 a.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of Gallery Place in Waldorf after a woman called police and reported she had been stabbed by an acquaintance during an argument. Officers located the suspect, Sandra Anthony, 24, of Waldorf, and placed her under arrest. She was charged with first-degree assault. The victim was transported to a hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries. Det. G. Higgs is investigating.
