Maryland General Assembly Will Enter Special Session

Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley (D) has announced that the Maryland General Assembly will enter a special session beginning May 14, 2012. More details will be announced during a joint press conference between O'Malley, Senate President Thomas V. "Mike" Miller (D: 27th) and House Speaker Michael Busch (D: 30th) next week.
“There is too much at stake not to move forward,” O'Malley said in a statement. “I’m confident that we can come together with the Senate President and House Speaker to complete this most important work for the people of our State.”
