Founded by Jeff Burrell, Youth Development Interventionist for Tri County Youth Services Bureau in
2010, Basketball 4 L.Y.F.E. (Love, Youth, Family and Education) utilizes the influence of strong
volunteers, coaches, military personnel, and college students to improve the quality of living in our
community through mentorship, events, tutoring, and the game of basketball. Basketball 4 L.Y.F.E.
(BB4L) mission is to bring together community leaders and members of the basketball community to
improve the lives of youth and families by educating them on BB4L core values: Hard work, Team work,
Discipline and Dedication to academic success.
These volunteers and sponsors are the strength of the organization, helping as mentors, coaches and
more to provide positive programs, engaging activities and basketball events that focus on Love, Youth,
Family, and Education.
