Two Mechanicsville Burglary Suspects Charged

On May 6, 2012 the victim reported to police his residence had been burglarized between April 27, 2012 and May 6, 2012 and firearms, ammunition, a knife and money had been stolen from the residence. The case was forwarded to BCI for investigation.

On May 9, 2012 detectives from the Bureau of Criminal Investigations, assisted by patrol units, identified two suspects in the burglary. After further investigation, detectives recovered the victim’s stolen property in Charles County, Maryland and arrested the two suspects.

Randy L. Freeman, age 49, and Cameron B. Nolan, age 20, both of Mechanicsville, Maryland were charged with First Degree Burglary, Theft $1,000 to $10,000, Theft Less than $1,000 and incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Freeman is currently being held on $45,000 bond. Nolan is currently being held on a $35,000 bond.
