Accident Involving STS Bus on Great Mills Road

Friday morning, May 11 at 6:37am, Bay District and the Lexington Park Rescue Squad were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involving an STS bus and a car on Great Mills Road in front of the Great Mills High School. Engine 32 arrived on the scene at 6:43am and reported four patients. Squad 3 arrived on the scene at 6:44am and began vehicle stabilization and assisted with patient care. Additional EMS units were dispatched at 6:50am.Officers on the scene reported the STS bus had stopped when it was struck from behind by the Ford Taurus.The STS driver and three passengers were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital by Ambulance 3898, 399 and 796. The remaining four passengers were signed refusals.All units were clear the scene at 0714.
