Three Men Arrested For Robbery of a Citizen

On May 10, 2012 police units responded to the area of Great Mills Road and Midway Drive in Lexington Park, Maryland for the report of a robbery of a citizen.The victim reported he was walking along a path when he was approached by three males who threatened him with bodily harm and stole property of the victim.No weapons were displayed during the robbery.Detectives from BCI responded to the scene and assumed the investigation.

The victim was able to provide a detailed description of the suspects.Detectives were able to locate the suspects, described by the victim, in the area of Hickory Hill’s and arrested the three suspects without incident.Timothy I. Brooks, age 21, Devonte Alexander, age 19 and Antonio Butler, age 19, were each charged with Robbery and Theft under $1000.Brooks was also served a warrant for Violation of Probation on a prior armed robbery conviction.

All three were incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. Brooks is being held on no bond reference the Violation of Probation and $50,000 bond on the Robbery/Theft charge.Alexander is being held on $20,000 bond and Butler is being held on $10,000 bond.
