Lusby Man Arrested After Stabbing Man in Lexington Park

On May 11, 2012, police units responded to the area of Valley Drive Estates, Lexington Park, Maryland for the report of a stabbing.Arriving police units discovered a male victim outside a residence suffering from multiple stab wounds.BCI was requested and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.

During the course of the investigation, detectives determined the male victim and the suspect were engaged in a physical altercation when suspect McKinley N. Mackall, age 32, of Lusby, Maryland stabbed the victim several times with a knife causing lacerations to the victims neck and shoulder area. The victim was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. During the investigation it was also determined Mackall had been issued a No Trespass Notice for the Valley Drive Estates property.

Mackall was arrested a short distance from the scene without incident and charged with First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Trespassing on Private Property and incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
