Hydrant Flushing in Mt. Carmel, Refrain From Using Excessive Water
5/15/2012
The Department of Public Works (DPW), Utilities Division will be performing annual hydrant flushing in Mt. Carmel on May 16th and 17th. Please refrain from washing cothes and using excessive water on these dates. Should you experience discolored water, run all spigots in your home for several minutes until the water clears. It is recommended that you run your washing machine empty for 1 cycle prior to washing a load of clothes. This maintenance program will allow DPW/Utilities to continue to provide clean and healthy potable water. Should you have any questions, please contact DPW/Utilities at 301-609-7400. Thank you for your patience during this time.
