The Calvert County Commissioners attended an open house at the new location of McDermott Chiropractic Care, PC in Prince Frederick. Dr. Karen L. McDermott DC, along with her staff, greeted visitors Tuesday, May 22 at the office, now located at 141 Main Street, Suite G-2.

McDermott, a 2004 graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic Care, had previously seen her patients at offices on the Calvert Memorial Hospital campus—most recently the Calvert Medical Arts Center and prior to that, the since-razed Weems Building.

McDermott is a doctor of chiropractic with physical therapy privileges and a nutritionist.

The county commissioners took a tour of the new office. Then, they helped McDermott and her staff with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony.
