St. Marys City to Host Interior Design Show
St. Mary's City - 7/7/2006
|
In partnership with Historic St. Mary’s City, Transom/Office Resource Associates will host the first annul Southern Maryland Decorator Show House. With the assistance of the St. Mary’s County Department of Economic & Community Development, this project will aim to promote local businesses in Southern Maryland by having local decorators design a room using products from local stores. The Decorator Show House will be open August 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 & 27 from 1pm-4pm. Tickets will be sold at the Historic St. Mary’s Visitors Center for $15 where guests will take a short bus ride to the property. All proceeds will be donated to The Historic St. Mary’s City to help in the construction of the Chapel. Local decorators have offered their time to decorate while local businesses have offered their products to be used on loan for the duration of the event. There are many ways you can be involved in this product to help the local area. In-Kind Donations: Stores interested in displaying their products allow decorators to choose from items in the store and show them in the Show House. These items are on loan and can be picked up and returned to the store at the end of the event. Each room will credit the store in which the items may be purchased. All stores who participate will be included in the advertising. Sponsors: As a sponsor of the Southern Maryland Decorator Show House, your support helps the Historic St. Mary’s City with the continued construction of the Chapel. Cash sponsorships begin at $500, with donor benefits, including sponsor recognition, at each level of support. For more information about becoming a sponsor, please contact Cheri DeLaVergne at 301-737-1866 or email at cdelavergne@officeresources.com. |
