Gun Shots Lead to Arrest in Lexington Park
Lexington Park, MD - 6/4/2012
On June 4, 2012 deputies responded to a residence on Roger’s Drive in Lexington Park, Maryland for a report of “shots fired”.As deputies were investigating the complaint they made contact with Devon Lawrence Thomas, 30 of Great Mills, Maryland.As deputies were interviewing Thomas they noticed a pistol, later identified as a .38 caliber, Smith & Wesson revolver protruding from under the front seat of a vehicle parked in front of the residence on Roger’s Drive.Deputies also located .38 shell casing inside of the vehicle.Further investigation revealed Thomas to be the owner of the vehicle.Thomas could not explain how he can into possession of the revolver or why there were shell casing inside of the vehicle.As a result of the investigation and the establishment of probable cause Thomas was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment.
