Sex Offender Busted With Weed
Lexington Park, MD - 6/6/2012
On Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:11am, Tpr. W. A. Couter was participating in a stationary stopping team in the area of Hermanville Road and Dixon Court in Lexington Park when a white Buick was observed in violation of a traffic law and was subsequently flagged down for a traffic stop. Upon approaching the vehicle, contact was made with the operator Terry Eugene Bailey, Jr., 27, of Lexington Park. While speaking with Mr. Bailey, Tpr. Couter detected the odor of burnt marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A Probable Cause search of the vehicle and Mr. Bailey was conducted as a result of this observation. Located in Mr. Bailey’s front pocket was CDS and CDS Paraphernalia. He was immediately arrested for Possession, additionally, the search of the vehicle revealed CDS in a cigarette box in the center console area of the vehicle. Mr. Bailey was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center where he was charged accordingly and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
