National Night Out 2012
6/15/2012
Sheriff Timothy Cameron and Cpl. Angela Delozier would like to remind communities to sign up to participate in the 29th Annual National Night Out, which will be held on August 7, 2012 this year.
National Night Out is an effective, inexpensive and an enjoyable program to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation. Last year 22 communities St. Mary’s County communities and one church organization participated in National Night Out. These communities serve as an excellent example of how neighbors can come together and create strong relationships within their community for a common cause. Most of these communities have participated in National Night Out since the beginning and remain strong in their commitment to themselves and their neighbors.
