Robbery in Huntingtown

On June 11 at approximately 2:30 p.m. C.I.T. Detectives K. Hunt and N. DeFelice responded to a home on Deep Landing Road in Huntingtown for the report of a robbery.The homeowner reported that she went into her garage through the doorway of her residence.As she was about to go back inside the residence from the garage, she reports that a man approached her from behind and told her to go inside the house, stating that he wanted her money.As the victim was being pushed up the garage steps toward the door to the inside of the residence, she kicked the suspect, ran into the house and locked the door.She heard the suspect scream when she kicked him.She then called police.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He has dark hair and was wearing jeans, a white t-shirt and tennis shoes.
The victim suffered minor injuries but denied medical attention at that time. The incident remains under investigation.
