On April 27, 2012 detectives from the St. Mary’s County Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Special Victims Unit, initiated an investigation regarding allegations of a sexual assault involving a minor under fourteen years of age.An investigation revealed the suspect, Cameron Antwon Ball, age 21, of Lexington Park, Maryland was utilizing the screen name, “AWWMANCAM”, on a Facebook screen log-in for the purpose of soliciting and engaging in sexual activity with the victim.The suspect eventually met with the victim and engaged in sexual activity at a residence in Lexington Park.

Following the arrest of Ball, related to the above incident, an additional female victim was identified and evidence obtained revealed Ball had sexually assaulted the victim who was under the age of 16.

On June 21, 2012 Ball was charged one count of third degree sex offense and one count of sexual solicitation of a minor. He is currently a registered Tier 1 Sex Offender and is being held in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center under no bond.

He wasn't stalking. He found her on the internet, talked with her, got to know her, and scheduled a date and time to meet with her. There, they had sex. They didn't say he was stalking, and if they were chatting more than once, and she set a meeting with him, it couldn't be stalking could it. Then, they say assaulted, because of her age. It could have been consensual and they would still describe any sexual contact as sexual assault. So, all we really know is that this MAN had sex with what the state calls a CHILD which is illegal, and he should go to jail. No reason to read more into it. That's pretty much it. And, though the parents probably feel bad about not being able to monitor their child all the time, we don't even know that her internet usage was at only at home, so, why suggest the parents should be jailed. (Did your parents ALWAYS know what you were up to?....I think not.) Thanks for being objective people....

Need .........
to look into jailing the parents for not monitoring/controlling their children's use of the internet. He didn't drag the child off the street sounds like she was allowed to walk around the Park at will.
