Charles County Celebrates America's Independence
Waldorf, MD - 7/5/2012
By Andy Marquis
Charles County celebrated the Fourth of July at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf on Wednesday with food and live entertainment. Several local restaurants provided samples of their menu selections in the Taste of Charles County tent while, inside the ballpark, games were set up for families.
Along with games inside the stadium on the field, there was also a car show and rides for kids. The Taste of Charles County tent included samples from Rita’s of La Plata, Brasas Rotisserie and Grill, Apple Spice Junction and other barbeque places located in the county.
The “Celebrate Charles” event was put together by the Charles County Government.
