Meet with CSM at the Ballpark, July 30

The College of Southern Maryland invites the community to join them for an evening of baseball with CSM Night at the Ballpark on July 30. The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs will be taking on the Long Island Ducks with gates opening at 6 p.m. and the game starting at 7:05 p.m.
Various prizes will be offered that evening for those attending the game, including CSM T-shirts, personal training packages, fitness assessments and group fitness exercise class passes from the Wellness, Fitness and Aquatics department, and a $50 gift card from the NRL Federal Credit Union (NRLFCU) among other items.
NRLFCU has teamed up with the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs to offer the “Strikeouts for Education” program. For each strikeout pitched by the Blue Crabs, NRLFCU will add $5 to a scholarship fund to be awarded to a member of NRL Federal Credit Union entering or attending CSM.
CSM staff will be available on the concourse throughout the night to answer questions on degree programs, community education and workforce development non-credit programs, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, STEM, athletics and student life.
Those attending the game wearing CSM logos are eligible for special giveaways. Tickets are being awarded as well at CSM’s Facebook page July 23-30.
