Late Thursday morning, Bay District Station 9 and Hollywood Volunteer Rescue Squad were dispatched for a single vehicle accident at the intersection of St. Andrews Church Road and Old St. Andrews Church Road.

Engine 92 arrived on the scene at 11:12 a.m. and found a red Ford F-150 into an embankment blocking westbound traffic with the driver injured.

EMS personnel arrived and began patient care while St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputies managed traffic control.

The patient was immobilized and transported to St. Mary’s Hospital.

There is a Motor vehicle accident at St. Andrews Church Road and Old St. Andrews Church Road.
